First Look: New Foxtrot Mike VFM-9 Upper Receivers
SHARE

Foxtrot Mike Products is expanding its VFM-9 line with two new dedicated 9mm PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine/SBR [Short Barreled Rifle]/large format pistol upper receivers for AR-pattern lowers which use Glock magazines. These new units come equipped with 7- and 10-inch barrels.

The 7-inch Foxtrot Mike VFM-9 is meant to serve as a compact upper which still provides some room for accessories and hand placement with its extended 5.8-inch handguard, while the 10-inch upper maximizes barrel length, which helps the 9mm cartridge develop faster muzzle velocities. Naturally, this longer upper comes with an even longer handguard and more real estate to mount lights, lasers, optics and other accessories.

“Customer feedback told us people wanted the proven VFM-9 platform with more real-world utility,” said Paul Noonan, CEO of Foxtrot Mike Products. “The 7-inch answers the need for a compact, highly maneuverable PCC with extra handguard real estate, while the 10-inch gives customers additional velocity and further modularity for optics, lights, and other accessories—all without moving away from the VFM-9’s value proposition and lifetime warranty.”
